Scott Stern a born and raised Jersey Boy and Roy Scott a native Canadian from a small town named Uxbridge in Ontario, had been partners for 19 years at the point of purchase of the Pineapple Hill Inn.

Roy who also owns a Real Estate Company in Short Hills and Montclair, New Jersey has always wanted to own an Inn and finally after many years of trying, convinced Scott it would be a great move.

The move to Bucks County and the Pineapple Hill Inn has been one of the best and most rewarding moves we have ever made. (and we have made a lot of moves) in fact 12 in a six year time frame. We also live with the Inn’s mascot, Dusty, a 7lb toy Pomeranian.

Scott who has always had a great talent for cooking and Roy with a talent for landscape and decorating seemed to be a perfect combo for InnKeeping extraodinaire. We immediately upon purchase had to put our talents to the test as we had a lot of renovating to do and only 6 weeks to do it. After the worst 6 weeks of our lives, cooking and serving breakfast and making some beds seemed like a piece of cake.
